Yes or no?

The popartsress got so royally naffed off over a reporter asking her during a press conference whether she had a willy or not, that the curious journo got thrown out of the room. 'You know my beautiful vagina is very offended by that question. I’m not offended; my vagina is offended' she quipped, before a burly security guard escorted the hack out of the building.

Which is all very well. Every artist wants to be known for their music, not for the size of their crown jewels (or even the disputed existence of crown the jewels,) but is Miss G playing a littttle bit dirty here? She was only too happy to fan the flames of her supposed hermaphrodite status when the story first kicked off; it amounted to great press for a noble cause which Gaga reaped the benefit from in record sales. She even said: “It’s not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that I go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but I consider myself a female. I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I'm sexy, I'm hot. I have both a **** and a p*****. Big f******g deal."

While stoking 'shocking' rumours is just another marketing ploy in the arsenal of any pop star worth their salt, tossing the rumour out of the window - or a journalist out of a press conference - once it's served its purpose is a bit naughty. Come on Gaga, play nicely....
