Yabba Dabba Do!

Weren’t the cavemen days awesome? You had a world where humans and animals worked in perfect harmony; where Pelicans were used as cement mixers and Brontosauri were cranes. Well, that’s what we saw in that documentary The Flintstones, anyway its about to make a comeback.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Fox network will revive the 2D animated cartoon with competent help from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. ‘What's the animal version of the iPod?’ Seth told The Reporter, ‘that's the kind of thing we have to think about. One of the first things that I drew when I was two years old was Fred Flintstone. So it's appropriate that events have come full circle, allowing me to produce the newest incarnation of this great franchise.’

Adding; ‘Plus, I think America is finally ready for an animated sitcom about a fat, stupid guy with a wife who's too good for him.’

The revamped Flintstones will air on telly screens in 2013.
