TV is the weakest link...goodbye

Love or loathe Anne Robinson the lady deserves some credit. In a TV world full of presenters who can’t even string a sentence together The Weakest Link helmster isn’t afraid of saying exactly what’s on her mind. Not only did she famously once ask “what the Welsh were for”, the 64 year-old has now branded the British TV industry sexist and ageist;

"If there was a lovely blonde with huge breasts and long legs who had my experience and wit, I'd be out of a job. I think all television is sexist and ageist" she remarked to a Radio Times journo.

Anne is set to return to our small screens to present Watchdog, the show she left eight years ago.
