The never-ending cycle of awards continued in London last night (22 May), with the best of British TV attending the BAFTA awards. The so-called ‘big winner’ on the night was BBC One’s modern day adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective ‘Sherlock’, which picked-up Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actor for Martin Freeman, who plays Dr Watson.

Other winners were Daniel Rigby who won Best Actor for his portrayal of Eric Morecombe in the BBC drama 'Eric and Ernie', ITV’s 'The Cube' which won Best Entertainment show and 'The Only Way Is Essex' which won the YouTube Audience Award. Yes, 'The Only Way Is Essex' is now know as BAFTA Award Winning.
