Former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has just been detained in London together with a 35 year old man following a tabloid sting where she was caught arranging the sale of a significant quantity of a class A drug.

The 24 year old N-Dubz singer was set up and exposed by infamous undercover reporter Mazher Mahmood, who approached her at posh London restaurant Nobu asking for cocaine. After bragging "half the guys I know are drug dealers. One’s a massive cocaine dealer. He’s my best friend. He’s a gangster — he’s my gangster", Tulisa provided him with the number of close friend Mike GLC, who carried out the deal shortly after in a Mayfair’s Dorchester hotel room while being secretly filmed.

The Metropolitan Police, confirming the arrest, has declared on the matter: "Officers have today arrested two people, a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman by appointment at a central London police station on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs. They remain in custody at a central London police station."

The drug fixing scandal is the last in a string of episodes that have seen the young singer in the news not quite for the right reasons, despite her attempts to market herself as a classy role model. Last year she had to endure the embarrassment of having a sex tape leaked by douchebag former boyfriend Justin Edwards - aka MC Ultra - while more recently she was criticised for having a seriously chavvy 'Lucky You' tattooed just above her privates.
