The secret to his Strictly success?

Strictly Come Dancing winner Harry Judd has revealed that he gave up alcohol after his bandmate checked into rehab.

Speaking to The Sun soon after his win, the 25-year-old said: "I don't drink any more. I stopped last year and it's been a good thing for me on Strictly - I've had no hangovers and been able to focus.

"The tough thing is there is an amazing crew on Strictly and the guys have been saying, 'We'll have a drink tonight, Harry'. How am I going to explain that one?."

Fellow McFly member Dougie, who won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here earlier this month, checked into rehab after his split with The Saturdays singer Frankie.

Harry credits long-term girlfriend Izzy Johnston for encouraging him to sign up for Strictly after he was initially hesitant about taking part.

He said: "Originally I said No, No, No. It took some persuasion by my girlfriend and family. But dancing on Strictly is ten times more nerve-wracking than being on stage with McFly."
