So rude right now

Studio bosses behind smash hit Bruno have made a startling move in order to make just a teeny bit more cash than they already have; they’re releasing an edited version that will pass for a 15 certificate after hundreds of his younger fans were turned away from cinemas.

Chopping one minute and 50 seconds from the film is enough to earn the film a downgraded rating, but then that one minute and 50 seconds does include a gay sex montage and a swinger’s shag party.

Not that Universal need the extra cash from the film of course; Bruno is already number one at the US box office, bringing in nearly £19million on its opening weekend, a million more than Borat did in 2006. The new version of the film will be released on 24 July.
