'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' took a turn for the dramatic after not one D-lister, but two were bitten by snakes. Both Shaun Ryder and Lembit Opik were nipped by a serpentine creature during their overnight prison task.

Shaun reacted with surprise (as you would) after being bitten, saying, 'Oh you dirty b******, I will pull you out and...' Although later on, he was a little more sanguine saying, 'Alright. It’s a bite, a snake bite. If that weren’t someone’s animal I would have f***ing smashed it. It was like sticking your hand through a sheet of glass and it wouldn’t let go. It took two of them to get the thing off.'
