Seinfeld cast to reunite on Curb Your Enthusiasm

Good news for Seinfeld fans after the show's creator Larry David confirmed that the original cast will be reunited in the final episode of the cult series Curb Your Enthusiasm.

It will be the first time that Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards have appeared together on screen since Seinfeld ended back in 1998.

David, one of the co-creators of Seinfeld, spoke about the reunion during the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena, California: "I always said no to a reunion. We would never do that, it’s a lame idea."

"And then I thought it might be very funny to do that on Curb. And I kept thinking about it, and started to think of different scenarios. I called Jerry, and Jerry was game. I called the others, and we did it."

The actors will appear on Curb as themselves writing and rehearsing an episode of Seinfeld. "You’ll get an idea of what happened to the characters 11 years later," David added. "You won’t see a show from beginning to end, but you’ll see parts of it."
