Russell Brand blasts Jack Straw

Russell Brand has blasted Jack Straw after the Minister for Justice suggested that Jonathan Ross and the Essex born comedian should pay the BBC's £150k fine following Sachsgate.

Brand hit back in his trademark cutting fashion via Twitter: "I demand Jack Straw pays £7billion he squandered on the Iraq war we didn't want."

Speaking about the BBC fine, Straw told reporters last week that "it is ridiculous the penalty will be paid by the public."

Brand took another swipe with a reference to the Minister's son William who tried selling dope to an undercover reporter back in the late 90s: "No wonder his son has to toke himself to sleepm," the funny man scribbled on Twitter.
