Where do celebrities live in the UK?

COTSWOLDS

Celebs are known to inhabit the picturesque countryside locales of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, although many of their homes there are not primary residences. Hugh Grant, Kate Winslett, Lily Allen and Damien Hirst are all known to regularly spend time in the Cotswolds. And with its natural beauty combined with easy access to London, who can blame them?

CHELSEA

It is no surprise that Chelsea makes it on this list. It is especially fashionable for younger B-listers to establish themselves in Chelsea where there is so much seeing and being seen. Exclusive clubs, bars and restaurants all offer an opportunity for celebs to showcase their latest fashions (or new crushes!)

SHOREDITCH

For some years now Shoreditch has been the trendiest section of London, and the more hip celebrities have gravitated towards it. And the infamous Shoreditch House sits conveniently for them to relax on. Russell Brand and Keira Knightley are known to make Shoreditch appearances, and the list is only getting longer.

NOTTING HILL

16 years ago, a romantic comedy featuring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant put Notting Hill on the map of hot spots to live, and celebrities like top model Claudia Shiffer didn’t take long to move to its famous coloured houses. Now famous also for its annual Notting Hill Carnival, it is one of the most expensive areas to live in London.

PRIMROSE HILL

A secluded neighborhoodlet bordering Camden Town and Chalk Farm (though comfortably separated by a rail line), primrose hill is as quaint as a central London neighborhood can be. Charming pubs with park views, all the necessary amenities, and a surprisingly high concentration of great restaurants makes primrose hill imminently livable and loved by celebrities like model Daisy Lowe.

HIGHGATE

This north London village with killing views has so many celebrity neighbours, like Kate Moss, Jude Law, George Michael and Sting. It is well known for the high quality schools, great transport links and its access to parks like Hampstead, Waterlow Park and Highgate Woods. We are not surprised that this London neighbourhood has been popular and desired since Georgian times.
