Mel B has come second in Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly Come Dancing. The star was favourite to win throughout the series, getting near-perfect scores from the judges nearly every week, and was awarded full marks for her final routine. Yet despite all this, it was the public who decided and she was pipped to the post by Brazilian racing car driver, Helio Castroneves.

Poor Mel – another in a string of disappointments. The Spice Girls album didn’t do as well as expected and their new single was the worst selling charity record ever. Maybe she’d have stood a better chance in the UK version: up against Kate Garraway she would’ve walked it…
