Victoria Beckham reportedly turned down a starring role in the new Sex and the City film – as a shoe tree (only kidding). Posh had to turn down this major opportunity because of other commitments, namely the Spice Girls world tour. She says: ‘I got asked to be in the Sex and the City film, which I would have loved to have done, but because I am in full-on Spice Girls rehearsal mode, unfortunately, I can't do it.’

Thank gawd for that, we say. Vicky had difficulty playing herself in a recent Ugly Betty episode and gives a two-by-four performance in the latest Tesco ad, so maybe she should just stick to what she’s good at. What that is exactly, we don’t know…
