First Heather Mills lays into the media on live TV, then Pirates of the Caribbean actress Keira Knightley jumps on the bandwagon. But instead of keeping thousands of cuttings like Heather, Keira can’t even bear to look at them.

In an asterisk-strewn interview with Elle magazine, Keira says “I’m a moody b******. I've been banned from reading newspapers because the way they're written angers me so much. I get incredibly angry. It really f**ks me off. What I hate is that they shove in your face – this is what you want to be. And you think, ‘F**k that.”

The potty-mouthed nonconformist face of Chanel went on to say she also hates:

• the word “cute”
• mobile phones (she once threw her BlackBerry into the sea!)
• people calling her anorexic (for which she won a libel case last year)

So Keira, what do you like? “I love romantic films... but I don't like being raped by sugar.” Well, who does?
