When your own parents prefer a waxwork statue to the real you, you know you've got problems. Amy Winehouse's long suffering folks Mitch and Janice were at the official unveiling of their daughter's waxwork model at Madame Tussauds the other day, and let slip that they'd prefer to take the doll home with them rather than the real thing. Oops!

"We're going to take this one home with us and take the real one back. This one does what she's told and doesn't move" quipped Mitch (The Mirror).

As is usually the case with Madame Tussauds waxwork models, the Amy Winehouse incarnation is incredibly lifelike. The beehive is just so, as are the skanky tats and gap in teeth - although the skin is suspiciously sparkly.

Madame Tussauds have however been criticised for showing a crack puffing, coke snorting trainwreck like Winehouse at all in the gallery instead of a real role model, like say Miley Cyrus. Or Maggie Thatcher. Or Vladimir Putin - or any number of the so called 'inspirations' already in there. Um, yeh.
