Will Smith opens scientology school

There's nothing wrong with Tom Cruise being a scientologist in our eyes - all the more ammunition to laugh at him with. But reports of Will Smith turning to the dark side are a bit more disturbing.

Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have founded a school in LA (The Village School) which critics are calling a badly disguised centre for scientology. Teachings are derived from the instructional methods of Ron Hubbard (the man who became super rich selling his guff to stupid celebrities the founding father of scientology) and a large proportion of the teachers are scientologists.

Of course (who have never 'come out' as fully fledged scientologists (they've seen how it's ruined best pal Tom Cruise's career) have denied that it is a scientology brainwashing camp.

"We are a secular school, and just like all non-religious independent schools, faculty and staff do not promote their own religions at school. Nor do staff pass on the beliefs of their particular faith to children" says director Jacqueline Olivier. Um right. That sounds likely. So when the kiddie winks are learning robotics or dianetics or the art of becoming a OT-VII in 5 easy steps, they'll also be taught by the 'Christian and Muslim' members of the teaching staff that what they're learning is nothing more than pure science fiction gumph? Not likely!
