Alexis something is back on the market. What Alexis Carrington from Dynasty - surely not? Nooo silly - Alexis Phifer....

Kanye West's ladyfriend. West and fiance of two years Alexis Phifer have thrown in the towel and gone their separate ways - after nearly 7 years of on off romancing.

Kanye allegedly dumped Alexis 'inexplicably' this week before whizzing off on his Glow In The Dark Tour, leaving Alexis to announce the split to People magazine - who then announced it to the rest of the world.

But true to Kanye form the Phifer - West split couldn't be more civilised, with Alexis refusing to indulge in not even one satisfying chunk of post break up bitching.

"I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met" she's said cheerily.

Which is very nice and grown up - but pretty dull. American slebs really should tear a leaf out of the Mucca-Macca rulebook and start taking some proper pops at each other!
