According to The Sun, Kate Moss couldn't give a fish sandwich her ex Pete Doherty is in the cooler.

Irina Lazareanu, (Pete's ladyfriend and pal of Kate's), called the supermodel to try and tell her the news, but never made it past ansaphone. As did a hoard of Kate's other mates. Although how they could have thought she didn't know already is anyone's guess. Pete Doherty in the bighouse has been headline news for 2 days, and unless La Moss lives in a virtual media vacuum she'd have to have worked pretty hard to miss it!

.......And once she'd digested the news, what did folk expect Kate to do anyway? Cut her LA holiday short to drop by Wormwood scrubs with some homemade flapjack and a clean pair of crackers for her ex? He's only gone down for a couple of weeks and lest anyone forget she's about to get hitched to a different Indie rocker!

Amy Winehouse on the other hand has been chuckling at the news, implying it's just the sort of 'bit of n*bbish behaviour she's used to from Doherty, and nothing for anyone to get their pants in a knot over. Which sounds about right to us.

Here's betting Pete's already the toast of Wormwood, livening up the drug rehab wing with some cracking chat about his pre prison, supermodel dating fame days. Thank god he wasn't canned in the hardened crim wing, we reckon he'd have had his work cut out there!
