To all you lovers of film out there – get ready to hear the most earth-shattering news ever! Ex-actress, Liz Hurley, has announced she is retiring from the film industry.

Retiring? Apart from Austin Powers, Bedazzled and that film where she put on an aaaawful South African accent – has she been in owt else? Can you really retire from a profession you weren’t really in? Three films do not make a career…

Liz adds: “Filming is very hard with a child, and I found I wasn't able to be a good mum and do movies. I really do very little film work at all. I decided I couldn't really do movies any more, which was a huge decision because I love making movies.”

A hard time juggling parenting and film work? What film work!? Are you sure it’s not just that you’re…erm…not the best actress?
