Sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll. Who would’ve thought that would’ve been a winning crime-fighting formula. Kate Moss seems to have gone from supermodel to superhero as since her move to her new home in St John’s Wood, crime has plummeted. However don’t expect to see a Lycra-clad Kate flying round the neighbourhood in a cape – ok, so you might – but it’s not because she’s actively fighting crime. Kate’s effect on wrongdoing in the area is rather more passive in nature…

Because of extra media and police presence the streets have been safer. No one is going to commit an offence when the place is crawling with people ready to take your picture.

A resident says: “When she first moved in it proved a bit of a nuisance, because you could hardly walk down the streets without bumping into photographers. Now, though, we're delighted they're here. There are a lot of dimly lit, narrow streets around here, and it used to be very lonely and quiet by night.”

So once again, every cloud has a silver lining. Kate gets to carry on partying and the neighbours feel safer in their now noisier beds. Super Kate to the rescue!
