Nancy Cartwright has given £5 million to the Church of Scientology. £5million! Rather a lot of dosh.

So…who’s Nancy Cartwright?

Well, she is the voice of Bart Simpson. Yes, SHE – Bart’s voice is done by a woman! That is two years’ wages for her, as the squeaky-voiced Nancy earns £125,000 per episode. Nancy also donated twice as much as top Scientologist Tom Cruise. (Come on Tom, you can’t get beaten by a girl! Cough up!)

She made the donation as part of Scientology’s Global Salvage effort, which aims to “de-aberrate” Earth – you know, to git rid of psychology ills and other “aberrant” behaviour.
Other big Scientology spenders were Kirsty Alley who donated £2.5 million and John Travolta with £1million. Don’t know about you, but if all these rich, successful people are doing it, we might have a go too. Hmm…we’ve got about a fiver. Will that do?
