It seems all those Sci-Fi films may have gone to Will Smith’s head. The Men In Black and Independence Day star, who has been hanging out an awful lot with Tom Cruise lately, was at a wrap party handing out Scientology personality tests as gifts. The tests are designed to identify personality faults. Then you join the (ahem) religion and for a ‘small’ fee they iron out these little creases in your personality. Then they keep doing the same for ever-increasing small fees.
Will Smith said last month: "I was introduced to it by Tom, and I'm a student of world religion. I was raised in a Baptist household. I went to a Catholic school, but the ideas of the Bible are 98 percent the same ideas of Scientology, 98 percent the same ideas of Hinduism and Buddhism."
Yeah, right! If Buddha rode around in a spaceship and Krishna were an intergalactic Overlord rather than a blue-tinged flautist. Oh, Will… what has become of you?
