Venerable American mag Time announced their top ten viral videos for 2007.

A group of hundreds of Filipino prison inmates recreating the “Thriller” video definitely deserves its #5 ranking.

This vid of Miss South Carolina’s stream-of-consciousness fumbling at the Miss Teen USA pageant 
 is also quite chuckle-worthy, but some of the videos poking fun at American newscasters and the Florida “taser” incident are not quite so relevant over here.

With this in mind, we’d like to propose a new number one for top viral video of the year.

The winner is Alanis Morisette’s cover of “My Humps”! We’re not the only ones who love this soulful rendition of the Black Eyed Peas hit – apparently Fergie and her lady lumps are big fans as well.
