Nancy Motes' death: suicide letter blames sister Julia Roberts

The suicide letter left by Nancy Motes, who was found dead in a bathtub full of water after a pill overdose on Sunday, blames half sister Julia Roberts for pushing her to take the extreme step.

According to reports, in the eight-page letter Nancy apologises to John Dilbeck and mother Betty Lou for the unfortunate decision, adding that she loves them dearly. However, when talking about her half sister, 37-year-old Nancy turns bitter, blaming the famous actress for her emotional state.

It has emerged that in the months leading to Nancy suicide, Julia apparently tried to send her to rehab for addiction to prescription medications, which triggered a series of online rants as Nancy believed not only that she didn't need it, but also that it was only an attempt to further withhold their mother from her.

On January 20, Nancy tweeted from her account: "So my ‘sister’ said that with all her friends & fans she doesn’t need any more love. Just so you all know America's Sweetheart is a B----!!" followed by "Do you want to be a fan of someone so cruel? She’s not even that good of an actress. Happy you totally F---ed with me?" and "My own family has abandoned me", tweeted two days later.

An autopsy was carried out on Tuesday morning but Nancy Motes' cause of death was deferred to a later date pending additional toxicology test.
