Move over, Simon

Unless you've been buried in a sandpit for the last year - in which case, our condolences - you'll be aware that the new series of X Factor starts in September, minus Cheryl, Simon and Dannii. The new line-up, consisting of Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa from NDubz has been criticised for a lack of charisma and dazzle. However, Tulisa insists that there's plenty of tough-talking characters on the panel, with Gary being hailed as the new Mr Nasty.

Tulisa told The Mirror, 'Gary is my biggest competition – especially when it comes to speaking his mind. I thought I was bad, but Gary is the shocker. He is harsh. Gary always speaks his mind, if they are s*** he will tell you. He just amazes me with what he comes out with. With me it’s Tulisa being Tulisa. Curbing Gary will be hard.'

Worryingly, Tulisa is also trying to get X Factor bosses to let her band-mate Dappy on the show. She said, 'I want him as a mentor for one of the groups. He will be so funny, out of control. I really want him involved. I don’t know if it will happen but it’s something I am fighting for. I think all the contestants will love him.'

Be afeared. Be very afeared.
