Lindsay praised by judge

She's known for her wild lifestyle, but it seems that Lindsay Lohan is actually taking her probation seriously.

She jetted back from a vacation in Hawaii for an appearance at L.A. Superior Court yesterday morning.

The judge praised her behaviour, saying: "Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work. And done it not only on time, but early."

The former child actress had been ordered to complete 12 days of community service at the L.A. County morgue and four psychotherapy sessions. Her charges related to a violation of her probation on a jewellery theft conviction and a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.

"You are doing well and I would like to see it continue," Judge Sautner told Lohan. "The morgue seems pleased as a morgue can be."

Last month, Sautner sentenced Lohan to 30 days in jail and ordered her to complete her community service at the morgue, where she would work as a janitor. She actually spent less than a day in jail.

The judge even joked about Lohan's recent high profile shoot for Playboy, commenting on a gift that the actress' lawyer was holding: "I hope it's not a signed copy of the Playboy."
