Lily Allen praises cocaine

Music execs and marketing monkeys spend months weaving clever schemes to promote their artists, but there’s nothing like a pro-drugs comment to give that new single an extra boost. Cue Lily Allen.

In an interview with The Metro, the binge-drinking popster claims that it’s “normal” for people to take cocaine;

"I know lots of people that take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work every day, no problem at all." Before taking a swig of an alcoholic beverage she continued; "But we never hear that side of the story. The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you - you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that's not true."

Lil’ Allen also romanticized about the time she was once put up in The Ritz; "I'd have been booked in at the Ritz with five grams of cocaine on my table." Ah happy days. That new single? It’s called 'The Fear' and is available to purchase on January 26.
