Justin Timberlake to star in Facebook: The Movie
Justin Timberlake is set to star in 'Facebook: The Movie'. The singer and actor will play the part of Napster co-founder Sean Parker in the big screen interpretation of the foundation and evolution of the popular social networking site.
The film, which currently has the working title 'The Social Network', is currently being penned by Aaron Sorkin the writer behind 'The West Wing' with Kevin Spacey amongst the executive producers.
'The Social Network' will focus on the story behind Facebook's overnight success and how it transformed the lives of its creators. Timberlake will play Parker who went on to become the social networking phenomenon's founding president.
Jesse Eisenberg, from 'The Squid And The Whale', will play Mark Zuckerberg while English actor Andrew Garfield will appear as Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. Production on the film is set to begin next month in Boston.
