John Cena made WWE history last night as he won the World heavyweight belt for the 15th time at Money in the Bank. This means that Cena is only one more Heavyweight Championship win away from Ric Flair's record of 16 wins placing him firmly in the upper echelons of the Hall of Fame.

It was one of the toughest belts he has ever won too as he had to overcome 7 superstars in a brutal ladder match which saw Cena pitted against Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Cesaro as well as Authority stable boys Randy Orten and veteran Kane.

Reigns came out of the blocks firing on all cylinders and he looked like he could take the title with a bit of luck. However, he then ran full steam into a fired up Kane who was under orders from The Authority to clear a path for Randy Orten and the big red machine dispatched of Reigns.

Orten was never going to win this match one way or the other though as the 7 other men in the ring, bar Kane, seemed to have made an unspoken pact that he was not to prevail. Then in a thrilling climax, Cena delivered an FU to both Kane and Orten, to put a devastating end to their teamwork, before making his way up the ladder to claim the WWE Championship once again.

Seth Rollins also had a big win earlier in the night and the general consensus now is that Cena and Rollins are set for a big clash at Summerslam. Rollins earned himself a shot at the World Heavyweight Title so all eyes will be on him to see if he can dethrone the evergreen Cena.
