Jackson's doctor gave him sleeping drug

An unnamed law enforcement official has alleged that Michael Jackson's personal doctor, Dr Conrad Murray, accidentally killed the 50-year-old singer after giving him an anesthetic to help him sleep.

Metro reports that the official, who chose to remain anonymous as the case is still ongoing, described Jackson's bedroom which was fitted out with a number of oxygen tanks and an IV drip.

It is alleged that Jackson regularly used propofol, administered by Dr Murray through a drip, to help him sleep. On June 25 Dr Murray is said to have administered Jackson the drug and local police believe that it could be reason behind the singer's death.
