Over the years there has been an ongoing debate about whether or not famous Beatles member John Lennon was bisexual. Finally a few answers have been revealed recently in an interview between Yoko Ono and The Daily Beast.

Lennon’s second wife, Yoko Ono states, “I think he had a desire to” but never thought he fully acted upon it. The 82-year-old multimedia artist and singer said Lennon once told her, “I could have done it, but I can’t because I just never found somebody that was attractive.”

Beatles manager Brian Epstein and Lennon were said to be close. Ono states that they had an intense relationship as “almost a love affair”. Ono mentions that something may have gone on but “... the story I was told was a very explicit story, and from what I think they didn’t have it [sex].”

The 1991 film “The Hours and the Times” talks about a holiday trip to Spain that Lennon and Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein went on together while Lennon’s wife at the time was pregnant. This fueled rumours about John being bisexual and his intimate relationship with the manager.

Before Lennon’s death though in 1980, Ono talks about how they openly discussed sexuality with each other and that they both agreed all people were bisexual to some degree.
