Holly moves to the BBC

Holly Willoughby is making the move to BBC prime time - a move that probably won't go down too well with her current ITV bosses.

It was confirmed today that she would be hosting the new BBC talent show called The Voice, alongside Radio 1 host Reggie Yates, which starts in the spring.

In a statement, Willoughby said: "I’m so excited to be hosting The Voice. When it launched in America I watched one of the shows and thought it was just a fantastic format, and when I heard it was coming to the UK I thought to myself how incredible it would be to be a part of it.

"It’s going to be one roller coaster of a ride and I can’t wait to get started!"

The presenter's contract is not exclusive, and she will continue to work on This Morning and Celebrity Juice.

Last week it was confirmed that Christine Bleakley, who has been axed from Daybreak, will replace Willoughby on Dancing on Ice.

Holly tweeted: "Good luck to Christine Bleakley on this years Dancing on Ice. It's a truely (sic) magical show and you will love it. I'll miss you all very much!"

Singer Jessie J has already been announced as one of four "superstar coaches" on The Voice.
