Golden Globes noms are in

The experts say, ‘if they win at the Golden Globes, they’ll do even better at the Oscars.’ Well the nominations for the 2010 Golden Globes have been released, and we can safely say George Clooney will be picking up a few of those famous little gold statues next year.

Clooney’s recession-era film, ‘Up In The Air’, which isn’t released in the UK till next year, leads the way with noms for Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Director, Best Actress (Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick both up) and George himself up for Best Actor.

Other worthy and notable credits are for Quentin Tarantino’s under-rated fictional Nazi tale, ‘Inglorious Basterds’, for Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Christoph Waltz.

The Golden Globes take place on January 17th and are hosted by David Brent. Full nom list below...
