Fifty shades of Grey sequel to be published in June

Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey are in for a real treat this month with a new book to be published on June 18th. Author EL James revealed details of the book, simply titled Grey, which will be written from the perspective of Christian Grey.

James posted an image of the new book this morning to Instagram along with the message "Hello all. For those of you who have asked, Christian's POV of #FSOG is published on 18th June for his birthday. It's called GREY... I hope you enjoy it. #FiftyShades #Grey". Fans of the series will immediately notice the significance of the release date too as it is Christian's birthday.

The book includes the tagline "Fifty Shades of Grey as told by Christian" on the front cover is intriguing. A statement from James explained the allure of such a book saying "Christian is a complex character and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past.”

She added "Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place – writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic publishing teams in the US and the UK."

The Fifty Shades trilogy has been a huge international success with over 125 million books being sold around the world. The first book was recently made into a Hollywood movie starring Jamie Dornan which achieved huge success at the box office ranking as the 4th highest grossing R movie ever.
