Don't call me 'cougar'

Middle -aged sex pot Kim Cattrall has come out in defence of those women of a certain age who just want to have as much sex as they did when they were in their twenties, and said that the word ‘cougar’ is a negative term that shouldn’t be applied to her Sex In The City character Samantha Jones, or to women in general. You filthy sexists.

The 53-year-old also said in an interview with Extra that the she turned down the opportunity to appear on the cover of a magazine for women over 40 after she refused to pose with a live cougar. Whoever had that naff idea should be given a stern talking to, that's for sure.

‘I think that ‘cougar’ has a negative connotation, and I don't see anything negative about Samantha, and sexuality, and sensuality and choice,’ she said. ‘I don't think that she stands or sits in bars waiting for young men to prey on, and I think that's something that a lot of people who are uncomfortable with strong women have labelled her.’
