Did Tom Cruise have Scientology book pulled?

It's a libel hot potato whenever people write about Scientology and Tom Cruise in the same sentence, so imagine what would happen if someone wrote a whole book about it....
Alien fruit loop Cruise has allegedly used his extra-terrestrial powers to stop Amazon from selling a controversial new book about celebrity 'religion' Scientology. The Complex: An Insider Exposes the Covert World of the Church of Scientology’ by John Duignan was released on Oct 31 by Irish publisher Merlin, but soon after, Amazon received a solicitor’s letter from a head honcho at the Church Of Scientology citing the book’s “defamatory and controversial content”, and the book was pulled.
Amazon stated;“U.K. law gives us no choice but to remove the title from our catalogue.” But John Duignan thinks short-round aka Tom Thumb had a hand in the move; “I believe Tom Cruise influenced them,” said the author, a former high-ranking member of the Church.
Of course the scripture of the Church Of Scientology which teaches that 13.5 trillion aliens were banished to Earth by a warlord called Xenu doesn’t sound controversial at all. Nanoo Nanoo, Mork calling Orson, anyone? The Complex: An Insider Exposes the Covert World of the Church of Scientology’ can still be found in all good book shops, except Amazon.
