Di Caprio and Scott to make Huxley's Brave New World

Leonardo Di Caprio and Ridley Scott have signed up to make a big screen version of Aldous Huxley's classic 1932 novel 'Brave New World'. The book, set in England in 2540, offers a dystopian world view of the future of society.

Di Caprio looks set to take on the role of "Mr. Savage" while Scott will direct the film while both Hollywood heavyweights will produce. Farhad Safinia, the scriptwriter behind Mel Gibson's 'Apocalypto' is set to pen the script.

Scott and Di Caprio have previously worked together on the thriller 'Body of Lies' and here's hoping that they make a better fist of 'Brave New World' than the two previous film adaptations from 1980 and 1998.
