Dennis Hopper dies aged 74

Hollywood legend Dennis Hopper died yesterday aged 74, after losing a long-running battle with prostate cancer. The actor, who has a list of classics (and Speed) as long as your arm in his CV, found worldwide fame in 1969 when he directed and starred in Easy Rider, but also put in some of the best cinematic performances of all time in films like Blue Velvet, Apocalypse Now and True Romance, some of which you can see below.

The actor died at home in Venice, California from complications surrounding his illness with friends and family at his side. He had been fighting a bitter divorce against his wife of 14 years, Victoria Duffy-Hopper, up until his death.
