Bruno the gay Austrian kicks up a storm in the Middle East

'Waz up! Being gay is ze new coolest zing!' So says, 'Bruno', Sascha Baron Cohen's camper than a row of tent pegs Austrian model / TV presenter character - who's been kicking up a storm in the Middle East recently.

'Bruno' interviewed a former Israeli Mossad agent (Yossi Alpher) and a Palestinian academic (Ghassam Khalib) for his new TV show - and got straight to the crux of the matter. 'What's the connection between a political movement and food? Why humous?" he asked. When one of the guests politely explained the difference between Hamas and humous, body conscious Bruno bulldozed on with "Ya, but why humous? Yesterday I threw away my pitta bread because it was dripping humous. And it's too high in carbohydrates!"

Bruno also likened the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to another nasty high profile battle. 'At least your conflict isn't as bad as Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie! He then suggested the conflict be resolved by way of a "a time share on the land" before also musing, "Oh why can't Jews and Hindus just get along...and when will the Jews bring back the Pyramids?"

It was only When Bruno then asked the pair to hold hands and sing a riduclous song about the Middle East that the pair finally smelt a rat. "He exploited our tragic and painful conflict in the most cynical and deceptive manner...but the end product will undoubtedly be hilarious" said Yossi Alpher. Undoubtedly. Check out some classic Bruno clips - too funny.
