Berry Hails Cops to catch intruder

Poor Halle Berry has been involved in a drama involving a very insistent stalker which is all too real. The actress has taken out a restraining order against a man who was spotted by hired police at the star’s house on Monday night – the third arrest in as many days.

The intruder, Richard Franco, 27, has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from the Oscar winning actress and her three-year-old daughter if he is released from jail. Franco was first spotted by Berry and her manager at the actress’s home on Saturday; on Sunday he apparently made it as far as her kitchen door before the ‘Monster’s Ball’ actress was able to lock the door. Finally, on Monday police officers hired by Berry saw persistent super fan scaling a security gate at the star’s house.

Needless to say, Berry is pretty shaken by the recent events. In a sworn declaration she stated: ‘This person has jeopardised not only my personal safety, but also the safety and well-being of my family. This person has invaded and trampled upon the most fundamental sense of security I have, and I am extremely frightened of him and what he might do to me or those I love.’ Franco is now jailed in lieu of $150,000. Let’s hope that’s the end of that episode.
